Know the old cliché about making lemonade when life hands you lemons? Even when sulking and feeling sorry for yourself and all the injustice you suffer seems infinitely more deserved and generally preferable? Well, our few years’ worth of on-the-job training in this business has led us to the certain conviction that not only can we make some pretty good lemonade, but that we, in fact, OWN the whole lemonade stand. (Running a small business and families at the same time is tough, after all…) And we realized suddenly that making lemonade—and yes, when you least feel like it—is a fitting image of what it essentially means to be laugh-friendly.
