More Good News:
Mom's Choice Awards®
Chooses
Nana Star
This summer has been full of good news for ee.
In May, NanaStar.com was honored with an iParenting Media Award. And just last week we learned that Nana Star is one of only three Finalists in the Inspirational Children's Book category of The Mom's Choice Award!
This esteemed award is devoted to recognizing "quality family-friendly media products and services" each year in order "to help parents and educators select quality materials and products for children." Judges include the founders of such well-known kids' fare as Reading Rainbow and Baby Einstein. With experts like that on board, is it any wonder we're thrilled with Nana Star's nomination? We're already making plans to attend the awards gala in NYC this October. Keep your fingers crossed! |

eeMOMS Take a Break
Any mom knows what it feels like to have too much
on her plate. We are no exception and so we've decided to take a break from the eeMOMS venture. As much fun as we have had creating the online community, and as committed as we are to the principles behind it, eeMOMS was taking over our lives! Not only did it draw too much time away from our families, but it also took too much energy away from Nana Star, the heart of our company. Thanks to all of you for your support of eeMOMS. We look forward to bringing the site back once we are in a better position to manage it. In the meantime, be sure to look for our favorite elements of eeMOMS incorporated into the www.eeppinc.com site, including blaphs (our version of the blog), parenting resources, and more. |
The Journey Continues
Nana Star and the Moonman, the second picture book in the series, is slated for Winter publication. This story subtly and simply reinforces for children the importance of faith as a guiding force in life as Nana Star begins her journey to return the baby star to the heavens. |
Be Kind to Humankind Week
As Mother Theresa once said, "Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless."
So smile at your neighbor, lend a helping hand and show your kids how to be kind!
