The Spirit of the Season We, at ee publishing & productions, are honored to be a corporate sponsor of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation for the second year in a row. This year, the laugh-friendly company expanded its donation to include more of its product lines. In addition to Nana Star picture books and companion rag dolls, thousands of Cutie Patootie WannaBe Babies and hundreds of Classic Fire Truck books were given to charity. Toys for Tots, celebrating its 60th anniversary this season, will distribute the toys to children in need across the country. Generosity is important all year long, and we think this special time of year is the perfect opportunity for remembering that we each have much to give - and we don't mean money or things but, perhaps more important, our time and talent. |

May we specially remember all those who proudly serve our country and will not be with their loved ones this holiday and pray for their safety and families. May the families of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we all share find comfort in their hearts with the gratitude we cannot adequately express. May those who have served and returned hold their heads high with honor, may any wounds strengthen their spirit, and may they know how we all appreciate what they have done for our great country. May God Bless Them All! |

Why does rain drop, but snow fall?
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl. We should have known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost. |
