Dr. Toy is Laugh-Friendly

Last month we announced that we'll be taking part in the PBS National Education Report series, focusing on worthwhile playthings and the whole child. This month, we are delighted to share with you that Dr. Toy, trusted around the world as an expert on child development and toys, will be joining with us in this endeavor. Dr. Toy's most recent book is Smart Play: How To Raise A Child With a High PQ (Play Quotient); she is regularly a featured guest on radio and television programs worldwide. "We have based our company and our products for children on our belief in the fundamental importance of old-fashioned play value and imagination," explains ee v-p Elena Patrice. "So there's no one we'd rather work with on this project than Dr. Toy. She sets the standard in the industry. "Teaming up with Dr. Toy to discuss a topic that ee feels passionately about is a privilege, to say the least. We'll let you know when our segment airs later this winter!

Meet Tricia Walker, Voice of the Nana Star Theme Song

Singer/songwriter Tricia Walker is known for Grammy-winning songs, critically acclaimed performances and recordings, world tours, Grand Ole Opry appearances, sold-out venues-and now for the Nana Star theme song.

Tricia has traveled the world with two of Country's most notable female artists: Connie Smith and Shania Twain. She's had songs recorded by countless artists, including Faith Hill, and a Grammy-winning single for Alison Krauss, "Looking in the Eyes of Love." Tricia's song "What a Wonderful Day" has been adopted as an official anthem for cancer survivors throughout the world, and "The Heart of Dixie" has been featured on the Oxford American magazine's annual Music Issue and CD.

TURKEY DAY
JOKES

If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?
Pilgrims!

What sound does a turkey's phone make?
Wing Wing

Why did the turkey cross the road?
It was the chicken's day off.

Why does a pilgrim's pants always fall down?
Because they wear their belt buckle on their hat.

What did the mother turkey say to her disobedient children?
If your father could see you now, he'd turn over in his gravy!
